The Yi family of LLMs were created by 01.ai, an AI lab based in China. Their main LLM, Yi-Coder, is multilingual and specializes in coding and programming tasks. The models come in three sizes: 6B, 9B, and 34B parameters. Although they are best known for coding, these LLMs also do math, reasoning, and general text completion. They also have a few smaller multimodal LLMs you can try out.

These are local LLMs meaning they are free to download and use on your own hardware (if your devices are powerful enough).
